The only head coach the program has known, Dave Molesworth begins his 21st season at the helm of the Minnesota Morris women's swimming and diving team in 2024-25 while adding head coaching duties for the second season of men's swimming and diving.
2023-24 - Both programs finish third at the Liberal Arts Championships with the men making their first-ever trip to the end-of-year meet. Molesworth is named Coach of the Year at the conclusion of the weekend.
2021-22 - Minnesota Morris overtakes IIT on the final day of the Liberal Arts Championships to finish second, the best-ever team finish in program history.
2016-17 - The Cougars recorded nine school records at the Liberal Arts Championships as the team placed fifth.
2015-16 - The Cougars capped a very successful season with another third place finish at the Liberal Arts Championship. Kaitlin Kamm successfully defended her 50 and 100 Freestyle titles while achieving UMM's first NCAA "B" cut. On the boards, Fuller qualified for NCAA regions and defended her 3-Meter title. The Cougars at the meet had 54 season-best marks, 32 career-bests, five school records, two Crafton Pool records, and one LAC meet record.
2014-15 - For the first time in school history under Molesworth, UMM had its first Liberal Arts Champions; Kaitlin Kamm in both the 50 and 100 Freestyle and Carissa Fuller in both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events. Molesworth was named the LAC Diving Coach of the Meet and under his direction Fuller was also named Diver of the Meet and became the first in school history to qualify for the NCAA DIII Regional Diving Meet.
Molesworth came to Morris on the heels of a celebrated collegiate career in which he was a 12-time All-American and held several records at the University of South Dakota. He was inducted into the South Dakota Coyote Hall of fame in 2018.
In addition to his head coaching duties, Molesworth also serves as the assistant director of athletic communications.
Molesworth resides in Alexandria with his wife, Heather. They have two children, Jameson and Ashtyn.
